William Harrison, colored, of the Stevedore Regiment, Camp Stuart,
Newport News, Va., died of pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Harrison, of No. 6th Street, Newark. The memorial monument lists him as William Lewis Harrison, however the newspaper accounts list him as William R. Harrison. The American Legion photo lists no middle name or intitial.
